Dunlevy Distributors are leading importers and distributors of housewares and giftware throughout the UK and Ireland, with a range that includes cookware, kitchenware, tableware, glassware and enamel bakeware right through to occasional giftware, photoframes, plasticware and pictures.
Our operations span Europe and the Far East and over many years we have developed our warehousing and distribution systems to provide fast and reliable deliveries to our clients.
Once cartons arrive into our warehouse they are automatically labelled and sorted to be later stored in picking bays and on pallet racking. These items are then easily located when being collected by pickers throughout the day before being double checked and packed for despatch. These orders are then scanned and sorted in our loading bays ready to be collected by either our own trucks or couriers.
Sales and order history per item is automatically determined upon arrival into our warehouse. The storage location for the item or family of items is then determined based upon the popularity of each item to allow our pickers to pick and collect orders more efficiently and reduce time wasted travelling from each location within our warehouse. This is one example of the various management systems used within our warehouse to improve efficiency, further allowing us to offer very competitive prices to our clients.
